Forms are developing, times are changing, society is progressing, and individual roles are changing. Every year, we are equivalent to standing at a new starting point and facing new opportunities, challenges and tests.


As the saying goes: "You can't eat, wear, and you won't be poor if you can't calculate." It is about the importance of planning. The competitiveness of internationally renowned automobile manufacturers mainly comes from product competitiveness. They have always produced one generation, R&D reserve generation, planning generation, and new products come out every year, so they can lead consumption and lead the industry forward; good companies do today, think about tomorrow, plan for the day after tomorrow, and even the long-term future. An excellent handed down classic work, a good word, song takes a long time, and sometimes even distressing meticulous thinking to achieve. It can be said that one minute on stage, ten years of work off stage.


Our group, business units, and functional departments must work hard on refinement, precision, forward-looking, and initiative in the work arrangements and planning for the new year. Insufficient effort in the conception and planning stage, problems are not clear, the situation is unclear, the direction is unclear, and the measures are not effective, you will definitely lose at the starting point. As the saying goes: Don’t be afraid of not being able to do it, just afraid of not thinking about it. The task of thinking and planning is mainly undertaken by managers at all levels to organize and mobilize their teams for long-term planning, discussion and improvement.


Comrade Mao Zedong once pointed out: After the political line is determined, cadres are the decisive factor. Managers at all levels should have a sense of responsibility and mission and live up to their trust. Practice has proved that there are only backward cadres and no backward masses. In 2014, the group adjusted the positions of general managers of some difficult and underdeveloped operating units, and integrated management of some lines. The business situation and team spirit have undergone gratifying changes. Employees are still those employees, and the key lies in the first person in charge and the main manager.


In 2014, the group management team reported on their work. We adopted a benchmarking approach. Although some people blushed, it is indeed a good thing to see the gap between the way of thinking and the method and to recognize the room for self-improvement. Benchmarking is a good method that is visible, tangible, and effective.


The plan for a year is spring, and the plan for a day is diligence. Careful planning for a year, a quarter, a month, or even a day is not only a problem of working methods, but more importantly, a problem of thinking methods and ways of thinking. Being accustomed to traditional ideas and work styles cannot make breakthroughs and innovations and make a difference. Whoever takes the initiative to change will adapt to the requirements of the development of the situation. Lead the team with a positive attitude to win the dominance in the market competition; whoever changes passively or does not change will fall behind in this era, a lesson learned.
